Cadence & Co was given a comprehensive lesson in the world of horse care this week at Charlotte Park, one of our recently completed acreage projects.
The team, including architects, interior designers, and contracts administrators, were joined by our construction teams for a workshop aimed at giving a thorough understanding of horse ownership and care, to help us better understand and consider all facets when designing and building equine properties.
Director Darren Mills touched on the history and psychology of horses while demonstrating the variety and uses of saddlery and tack. Darren also called on the expertise of Michael Fruin Dip WCF Master Farrier (AU) and the CEO of Horseshoe Express. Michael demonstrated how to shoe a horse and look after their feet using Darren’s horses Rumba and Wednesday as his subjects.
This equine session was the first in a series of workshops devised to equip the team with a detailed understanding of the needs of horses, their maintenance, and grooming. As we are currently designing several significant acreage properties in both Sydney and the Southern Highlands, our team will be instantly putting their equine knowledge to good use.
